
Ingredients:
- a can of tuna
- tomatoes (chop)
- cucumbers (peel and chop)
- a shallot or part of an onion (chop – keep the rest of the onion in the fridge to use later)
- any other salad vegetable you fancy (peel if applicable, chop or grate if it is a hard one like a carrot)
- salt, vinegar to season
- vegetable oil if the tuna was in water
- put all chopped vegetables in a bowl
- if canned tuna was in oil just dunk all of it on the vegetables (check can label for information)
- if canned tuna was in water drain the water and add tuna on top of the vegetables
- sprinkle salt and vinegar
- add vegetable oil if the tuna was in water
- mix and eat
Want to make it fancier and more nutritious? You can add unroasted walnuts, sunflower seeds or any other nut you fancy. Don’t be surprised if you find that you need a huge one of this delicious salad. Complete it with a slice of bread to make it more filling. Enjoy!
